Position Responsibilities:

The Motion Designer is responsible for creating engaging digital advertising and content.   The position requires the ability to convey a message by combining motion graphics and copy.  The incumbent will be nimble, quick and detail driven.  The role also requires competency and experience in the process from the brief to brainstorming, storyboarding, selling creative and executing ideas.  Conceptual, current advertising, design and animation savvy skills are also required.

Education and Experience:

Diploma or formal training or equivalent work experience in digital motion design.

One to three years of proven ability to create superior digital advertising and content.

High proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign and After Effects CS5.

Ability to learn fast, take direction and manage your time.

Advertising agency background is a welcome advantage.

Knowledge of Final Cut Pro or Premier is a bonus.

Knowledge and experience in Cinema 4D is a huge asset

 

This is a full time contract position for 3 months.
