Position Overview:
 
The Retail Media Account Director will be responsible for building, developing and strengthening the
relationship with the client and internal client teams in order to facilitate the media sales teams sales objectives. As the day to day account person, this role will be the point of contact for the client and the subject matter expert on the client’s products, services, target markets, goals, competitors and internal structure.
 
This role will provide information to the internal EK3 sales staff to influence vendor sales and liaise with EK3 internal Production and Creative teams to facilitate retail client objectives.
 
Position Responsibilities:
 
Provide day to day account feedback and orientation
Assume role as point of contact between the client and EK3
Consult with retail client to establish corporate projects, buyer objectives and determine their direct/indirect effect on vendor sales
Assist in the development of research activities
Liaise and communicate with EK3 internal departments to ensure that projects are managed and executed effectively
Acquire market research information to evaluate and adjust campaigns
 
Education and Experience:
 
College/University degree in marketing, advertising or related discipline
5-7 years related retail industry experience, preferably retail trade or shopper marketing experience at an advertising agency, retail company or consumer products goods company
Demonstrated track record of growing client relationships, developing business and customer service
Proven experience in indirectly managing teams and working cross-functionally with an organization
Strong knowledge in account management/coordination, advertising buying, client/campaign strategy and media planning
Strong interpersonal/communication skills
